ingredients
- 2 sticks of butter
- 1 cup of chopped nuts (walnuts, or pecan, chia seeds etc )(optional) (one cup of chia seeds will be too much. Adjust yourself)
- 1/2 cup (or less) of granulated sugar
- 2 cups of flour
- lemon peel (optional)
- Pinch of baking powder
- some (about 1 cup ) of power sugar (we asians like as it is, without extra sugar).
Preparation
- preheat oven 330 F.
- melt butter in microwave
- add nuts and sugar into melted butter, mix well
- add flour and lemon peel, mix well
- form into small balls, and place them on baking sheet (if difficult to handle, keep the dough in the fridge for a while)
- bake 330 F for 30 minutes or until cookies are done
- wait a little but to cool cookies
- roll these cookies into powdered sugar.
