My famous strawberry cake


For the cake 

one box of (Better Crocker) French Vanilla Cake mix
3 eggs
1/2 cup veggie oil
1 cup water
Optional (using a little bit of Rum or Bailey's, moist the cake).

bake 350 for 30 - 40 minutes until done then cool completely on the rack.

The secret to have a flat top cake is 
to use the bottom as a top. (upside down)



For the cream 

1 cup of whipping cream (NO cool whip)
30 g (2 large spoonful) or more Sugar
















For decoration
Fruits (I use strawberry) but , peach, blueberry, whatever works.
walnuts
no flavor gelatin for gloss look and maintain moisture of strawberries (add a little sugar)

I recommend to put the nuts on the side.
(this pic did not do that, and came out much more messy strawberry decoration later)














start decorate with very thin sliced strawberries.

 and at the end, apply gelatin (+ a little sugar melted)  with the brush .
